If that isn't enough for you, or perhaps too much, then the Puerto Escondido National competitorsMusic Festival (Blues) will also be peaking at the same time. So Rock and Roll or kick back to some blues after an exciting day at the beach or catch one of the Special Fashion shows that will be held during the evenings. Maybe you're a Bikini kinda person so let the bikini contest fill your eyes with extreme images and emotions thanks to the attractive but very dangerous curves of the International and National competitors. Carnival will also be in full swing during the Mexpipe Challenge and the parties will be non-stop for this week-long extravaganza of an event. Carnival De La Costa Puerto Escondido 2007 This year we will be enjoying the presence of the famous Amaranta Ruiz (the Actress best know for her TV program Puro Loco) as our "Queen of Carnival". By night the carnival is a celebration full of colors and music, costumes, dance, smiles, and parades; men and women mingle in the streets in a dreamy atmosphere of happiness without any worries. Rubicon Promotions & Marketing "RPM" is very pleased to announce we have joined with the "FORCE" of what is taking on a very thrilling look and with an intense "Woodstock" feeling of excitement and interest for the entire State of Oaxaca. THE EVENT They're already calling the MEXPIPE CHALLENGE SURF CARNIVAL "The Woodstock of Mexico." It will be bringing Thousands & thousands of bare footed, Sunglass wearing, scantily clothed beach goers to put their feet in the warm waters of Mexico's Pacific Ocean & the white sand between their toes of Puerto Escondido's pristine beaches & Coves of this once sleepy little fishing town. From February 16 to 20, 2007, the area will once again witness the most important surf competition on Mexican soil. Taking place at beautiful Zicatela beach, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, for the 7th consecutive year, National and international competitors will reunite. On this occasion, two disciplines which are by far the two fastest growing water sports in Mexico will be featured: surfing in the women's and men's categories. These events are sanctioned by the (A.S.P) professional surfing association the (F.M.S) mexican surf federation and the (A.S.E.O.) thef Oaxacan surf association. In addition to the surfing we will be living a beach atmosphere and celebrating carnival in which the public will enjoy carnival parades, spectacles, beach activities, fashion shows and concerts. The mexpipe challenge: the avant-garde of beach events, offers and invites on this occasion, the youth to participate in the carnival, which will be held parallel to the surf event. The MEXPIPE CHALLENGE surf event will reunite surfers from more than 17 countries to compete in the women's and men's categories for their respective purses. The champions of each category will also compete in a man-on-man final for special prizes from many sponsors this year, making it an even larger extravaganza event, "Woodstock"! you're fairly warned. This year the event transcends to a sanctioned international status by the A.S.P.(professional surfing association) and is a one star event on the W.Q.S. (world qualifying series) tour which puts it on the official calendar. It is also sanctioned by the F.M.S (mexican surf federation) and the A.S.E.O (oaxacan surf association). CARNAVAL DE LA COSTA PUERTO ESCONDIDO OAXACA 2007 This year, carnival goers will enjoy the presence of the famous Amaranta Ruiz (the actress best know for her TV Program "Puro Loco") as our Queen of Carnival. The event of carnival has a purse of $15,000.00 US. The concerts this year will be held at night on the beach with reggueton: the music of the generation. The public has the possibility to encounter the musicians in live performances in intimate circumstances in small jams after the concerts. There also will be at least two fashion shows, one of high fashion and the other of bikinis at night in a beach atmosphere with beautiful international and national models.
