Sasha competed in his first Surfing Contest at the young age of 7 years old
WINNING the
Carrizalillo Cove Championship taking 1st place in his age group of 7 to 12 year olds in 2004.
In 2005 Sasha returned to win the National Championship taking 1st once again in waves
way overhead at the famous Carrizalillo Beach Cove point break.
In 2006 the young and now newly crowned champion continues his success by taking 2nd place
in the National Championship up the coast in Ixtapa just north of Acapulco in the large surf that day
with 8 to 10' sets. Note: Sasha was the only young Surfer who had no assistance by a Parent
pushing him into the waves.
Sasha was the only Surfer paddeling into the double overhead waves by himself.
Sasha repeated his 2nd place again in the following Contest in Acapulco later that Summer at: Bonfiel beach.
In 2007 Sasha Donnanno plans to complete in all the surfing contest he can get to. So far this year Sasha
has competed in 2 events against the older surfers from age 10 to 16 and moved on into the
semi finals in both contest.

plans to win with his new surfboard his Father got for him on his 10th birthday.
"I'm going to use my new surfboard next time and Win the next contest for my Father with
my new surfboard I got from Dad on my Birthday last week".
